Reznikov’s Fine Jewelry is a true family owned and operated fine jewelry store. Founded in 1982 under the name of ‘Jewelry Services of America’, the company provided trade-only services to a local customer base including Kay Jewelers, Zales, and Dillard’s Fine Jewelry departments. Services such as diamond and gemstone sales, jewelry repair and stone setting, watch repair, and appraisals were provided.

Mr. Resnick opened a retail store in a small space obstructed from view in the Elm’s Shopping Center on Wurzbach Road in 1992. Several years and two locations in the Elm’s Center later, Reznikov’s Fine Jewelry exists today as a beautiful 3,300 square foot space with a full custom manufacturing and repair facility, appraisal and gemological laboratory, expert horological (watch) repair department, spacious showroom and extensive jewelry, bridal jewelry, fine watch, and gift sections. Mr. Resnick is still at the helm of the company, with son Matthew as the Manager, daughter Marlo in Sales, and daughter Valerie as the comptroller.

Origin of the Name
The store is named “Reznikov’s” to honor the family’s ancestral Russian surname. Mr. Resnick’s grandfather immigrated to America from Kiev, Russia, during the early 1900’s, and quickly ‘Americanized’ his family’s surname, like so many other immigrants of that era.
